Are your employees insured and bonded?

 Yes. We have insurance, including liability, crime, and employee accident coverage that includes your home and our team members. 

What cleaning supplies or equipment do I need to provide?

Life Maid Easy provides the cleaning products and equipment needed to properly clean your home. The team carries Safety Data Sheets with them for each cleaning solution that is used and per our insurance we are not permitted to use any cleaning product that has not been previously approved by the office. 

Do I need to do anything before my cleaning team arrives?

 We are here to help. To allow us to be most efficient, it is helpful if you pick up toys, laundry, household items, and clutter before the team arrives. This allows us to move through your home more quickly, which can lessen the cost..  No worries though, we’re ready to tackle the worst possible messes, and will neatly pile and arrange any items left on floors or furniture. 

How do I pay for my cleaning service?

Payment (by check or credit/debit card) is due in full at or before each service appointment. Please leave payment on the kitchen counter or table in a sealed envelope marked “ Life Maid Easy”, Late payments may be assessed a 15% service charge. If you have an ongoing schedule with us, we encourage you to pay online through our emailed invoice which is emailed the day before your scheduled cleaning. 

How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

You’re welcome to cancel or re-schedule with at least 24 hours notice. We plan our schedule ahead of time, and our staff depends on the regular income of a full schedule. When you cancel on short notice, we still need to compensate our staff fairly. When we schedule your cleaning job we reserve that time for you and you alone, and turn other business away.  We charge a $35 missed appointment fee for late cancellations or a $15 fee for late re-schedules. If you frequently cancel or reschedule services we will have no choice but to replace your cleaning spot with someone else. 

Do I need to be home when you clean?

The cleaning team is focused on cleaning. We prefer the house to be empty and free from distractions but we realize there are times when you  have to be home.  If you are home while we are cleaning we just ask that you stick to one area of the home. We have a lot of equipment out which can make it difficult to maneuver through the house with people walking around us.
